Interesting neo-modern museum in the middle of a medieval town. Worth visiting
I went to see the The New African Portraiture exhibit and found the Kunsthalle to really be a world class exhibition space. I was surprised that a collection of that caliber would in a small town outside of Vienna but it was a wonderful surprise! The artwork was absolutely wonderful.
The Kunsthalle itself is well-designed and large. I will certainly stay in touch and return in the future!
Nice and quiet. Today it was on sale, only one euro per person!

The main emphasis of the Kunsthalle Krems is on contemporary art created after 1945. The exhibition range from classical media such as painting, drawing and sculpting to photography, film and performance up to installations and other conceptual and contemporary art forms.

Nice modern art museum, good exhibitions and well informed audio guides. It will be extended with a new building by 2018 so it will be more interesting then.
Great place! The security and cashier were very friendly and helpful. Not like the others museums near by.
We enjoyed the visit.
Very good exhibition and worth to see but very uncomfortable to visit since the workers stalk on you a lot.... Pity
We were almost alone walking through the museum.. hence undisturbed enjoyment of art :)
